Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information RidgeLeak collects when you use this website, call us or request a leak check, how we use it, who we share it with and what choices you have. By using the site you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us. Your name, phone number, email address, home address or area, and what is happening with your water (for example a high bill, a moving meter or a leak). Anything you add in the message box.
  • Call information. When you call, we may record or log the call, the time and the number you called from. We tell you if a call is recorded.
  • Information collected automatically. Device and browser type, pages viewed, time on the site, the page that sent you here and an approximate location based on your IP address, collected through cookies and similar tools.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your request, call or text you back and book a visit
  • To connect you with a local service provider who can take care of your request, if we do not perform the work ourselves
  • To give you a price, a report or a follow-up
  • To improve the site, measure which pages and ads work and prevent fraud or abuse
  • To meet legal obligations

Who we share it with

We share your information only as needed to handle your request:

  • Local service providers and partners who may contact you to schedule and perform leak detection or repair
  • Service providers that run the site for us, such as hosting, form handling, call tracking, analytics and messaging companies
  • Authorities or advisers when the law requires it, or to protect rights, safety or property
  • A buyer or successor if the business is sold or reorganized

We do not sell your information for money to data brokers. We do not share your phone number or text opt-in with third parties for their own marketing.

Calls and text messages

When you submit the request form or give us your number, you agree to be contacted by call or text about your request, including by automated technology. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts at any time, or HELP for help. You can also tell us on a call to stop.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar tools to run the site, understand how it is used and measure advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site may not work as well. We may use tools such as Google Analytics and call tracking, which have their own privacy policies.

How long we keep information

We keep your information as long as needed to handle your request, keep business records and meet legal requirements, then delete or de-identify it.

How we protect it

We use reasonable safeguards, such as secure connections and limited access. No website or service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Depending on where you live, including under the Colorado Privacy Act where it applies, you may have additional rights, such as opting out of targeted advertising or the sale of personal data. To make a request, use our contact page. We may need to verify who you are first, and we will respond within the time the law requires.
